Sunrise bed

I woke up very early, about 5am, in time to watch the sunrise from my bed. A beautiful day followed. The following night we had a big storm with lots of wind and rain, enough to cause a flood on the nearby Wairoa river.

Benefits and Benny Hill

Another pair of hands around the house is already proving very beneficial. While I potter away at the household chores, a very playful Taragh entertains the kids. And they LOVE it. They love her so much she struggles to go the toilet on her own. Lucie even tucked her in on her first night with a bedtime story and goodnight kiss. Other benefits have included her producing a very generous package from Dad and the encouragement to spend it on my new wireless router! LOVE my sis!

The smallest plane

This is the smallest plane I have ever flown in, Auckland to Tauranga. A fun flight and great to watch the bay appearing and seeing the landing so clearly.

Double blogging

I've decided with Erin to write about my time in New Zealand. Erin even bought a wireless router today so we are both connected. After dinner, and we're getting started.
